I was reminded this week, that nothing comes for free, whether it's relationships or health. One has to earn it and then it means something. For a long time, many have taken for granted the basic things like food, housing and energy. We live in a consumerist society which wants a pill for every ill, where relationships are transactional and replaceable. Work is undervalued but easy money celebrated but those days are over.
Last time the WHO made global recommendations that governments ran with and this time around, IEA (the international energy watchdog) makes recommendations to governments.
An agenda being enacted doesn't mean the war isn't real; just the same as with covid - the virus was definitely real.
The recommended actions are:
Work from home where possible to save petrol. Reduce highway speed limits by at least 10km/h to reduce fuel usage. Encourage public transport to reduce oil demand. Limit car access to roads in large cities through a number-plate rotation scheme. Increase car sharing. Encourage efficient driving for commercial vehicles through load optimisation and vehicle maintenance. Divert LPG use from transport to preserve it for essential needs like cooking. Avoid air travel where possible. Encourage electric cooking and other options to reduce reliance on LPG. Help industrial facilities switch between different petrochemical feed stocks to free up LPG.
As we know from experience, first is voluntary then it's mandated with the ultimate goal of 15 minute cities, rations, digital ID, crushing of small and medium sized businesses, mass compliace.
We are war and it is the parasite, Epstein class versus humanity. It is a war that has been going on for many, many generations.
Christian, otherwise known as The Ice Age Farmer does a very good video on what to expect. His Youtube channel had 500k before it was removed without any notice, no violations which says to me, that he was on target and his new channel below is worth a listen.
While many people are content to consume oodles of news without making any changes to their personal circumstances, his channel like mine is not about helplessness but using information to forge a path forward.
So we are entering a period of global turbulence and people who are yet unaffected by war, fuel or supply shortages, are in mostly denial. This article won't focus much on the unfolding collapse, which is now self-evident, because the trajectory has not changed from my last article that you can find https://uncensoredwisdom.com/navigating-the-storm/ but I want to write about nurturing the human psyche to overcome fear, anxiety, adversity and trauma.
Fear disables the prefrontal cortex to a point of paralysis. It is weaponized intentionally to manipulate weak minds.
In my interview with Richy Bennett, we explore how to nurture the human psyche to overcome fear, anxiety, adversity and trauma. It's a deep conversation that if you take the time to reflect on and how you can make changes in your life to shift thinking, to move outside your comfort zone and understand that the one who has control over his mind, emotions, spirit and body has the capacity to overcome the most difficult of situations and harshest of adversities.
We discuss the importance of both intuition and common sense and being able to make decisions in the flow state which is when you have to rely on your intuition to make instant decisions.
Richy was the former senior psychologist at the NSW Institute and also known as the surf psychologist with a passion for riding very large waves to explore every dimension of the human psyche. His teachings integrate mind, heart and soul into a holistic understanding of self. He can be reached richybennett.com
He says that “In my research, humanity has been intentionally conditioned to be self-interested, apathetic, immature, indoctrinated to be compliant consumers...So how do we move out of these spaces? It’s hard.”
People who have not gone through adversity, who have not had to train their minds to adapt to change, to go outside their comfort zone, learn new things, and have a childlike curiosity about life but are conditioned to varying degrees to live 'comfortably' in the social prison of social structures we know as modern society, have been mentally, emotionally and spiritually weakened.
The phrase "Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times" by G. Michael Hopf indicates where we are in the cycle.
Hard times are coming but the silver lining is that it will create strong men
Additionally, hard times bring people together and create community, not just as a catch phrase but in the deeper meaning of it. As people, we are all connected and only in difficult times, do we realise that we actually need each other.
The systems that we live under have disconnected us from self, from the Divine, made us indulgent and self absorbed in things that do not give life.
The price is paid in bodies that are weak, rotting from the inside because we have forgotten our roots, our connection to the earth that feeds us, to the Spirit that gives us life, to living water and to light and that has been the major take away lesson of experiencing heart failure; that although I thought I was living a good life, it was unbalanced and in order to heal, I needed to dig deep into my soul and make huge changes.
I spent time this week with people who had beat terminal diseases to go on to live vibrant healthy lives and we shared our journeys, our struggles, the uncertainties of taking the path less travelled, the opposition we faced, hardships, and how our purpose is now shaped by that experience in helping others navigate that path.
When you face death, when your own body is failing you, the material things, none of it matters and there is clarity and as Richy described in his interview, you enter the flow state, where you know every decision counts and it often has to be made in the moment. It is in this space, that you cannot allow fear to disconnect you from your intuition or common sense and when you become aware of this internal battle and can tap into a higher consciousness, that is when the magic happens. An example would be losing control driving on a road, where you need to keep calm under pressure and use your mind to make instant decisions and your intuition.
In our modern world, we aren't tested. In Australian indigenous culture, young boys would go walkabout between the ages of 10-16. They would leave their community and go out to live alone in the wilderness for an extended period, (sometimes up to six months) to prove their capability, bravery, and self-reliance. They learnt survival and self-discovery, traditional knowledge and lore, to listen carefully to elders, and upon completion became a man. They navigated the space between life and death, just as women do during birth and it builds something very powerful within. These events mark a "right of passage".
This week, I was told "You've earned this" and it struck me, that it's not an absence of knowledge to acquire good health and relationships but the lack of effort, dedication, commitment and willingness to change. I have had several "rights of passage" in my life, from my many births but also in facing death and healing, going on to have a baby in the wild after recovering from heart failure which was considered super high risk at 43. While I had most of my children without a midwife or doctor, this time was different because the risk was so high on paper, but in my mind I had done the research, healed from cardiomyopathy and my intuition was telling me that I could not afford to go into the system that would be weaponized against me to force me to take drugs and do ultrasounds monthly, and have my stress levels through the roof, which would ultimately lead to the demise of my pregnancy and my health. I ended up with the most amazing pregnancy, giving birth to my eleventh child in my bedroom by the beach after a truly relaxing and nourished pregnancy. I had faced my fears, come through victorious and elated.
In today's world, there are very few circumstances where you are personally challenged that are life and death scenarios but in the past, that was common and it built a resilience. We are wired for that kind of risk. Our psyche has become damaged by comfort. We need challenges to personally grow.
This last couple of years, I have created myself challenges from completing the HARD75 to hiking, and increasing the amount I walk to 18 kilometres or more, and also nutrition challenges. The epitome came in the 19 day water fast that was my huge wave. It was uncomfortable, took me outside my comfort zone and shifted my perspective on life and I made physical, emotional changes that are ongoing and despite all the craziness in the world right now, I just feel incredibly at peace; knowing that not only will I survive but will thrive in the difficult times that are converging.
I am currently on day 3 of another water fast and the reason this time, that I choose to fast is in order to be able to clearly see what is happening right now in the world but also to tune into my own personal response and how I am to navigate these changes. Interestingly this time, I didn't feel hungry dropping into the water fast, and don't have the detox symptoms that I did last time and my energy levels are really good.
If you have ever raised a veggie garden, you know that the harvest is one of consistency and that you cannot reap where you have not sown and similarly for one's body and one's life.
You do not fully value something that you have not paid in effort to have and many people simply don't value their bodies. There is often deep rooted issues too, related to a lack in self love and childhood trauma too, which create emotional disturbances that manifest in disease.
Last week I recorded a three hour interview with a mother and father who reversed their son's terminal bone marrow disease and what they learnt about health and nutrition which is applicable to all people. I would say, even though the other interviews I have done with world leading experts are brilliant, that this interview is the pinnacle because there is nothing that beats knowledge gained from both research and lived experience.
It's tough condensing years worth of knowledge and experience into a 3 hour interview and no doctor alive understands health like someone who has walked to the edge of the abyss and faced death and starred it in the face, and clawed their way back to health, yet many people will follow health gurus experimenting on their bodies blindly and pass by the ones with lived experience because the information is hard to digest and involves work. The media and internet is littered with advertising for products but not the knowledge of what each individual actually needs and every diet fad under the sun without any understanding with what one is actually trying to achieve, but very vague ideas on how they may work, without ever discussing the unintended consequences.
The issue with the mind is that it is both affected by the cultural programming and the gut microbiome. Based on single-cell RNA-Seq data and detailed imaging, the highest concentration of oxytocin-producing cells in the human gut is found in the jejunum of the small intestine. Oxytocin, often called the "love hormone" produced in the hypothalamus and released by the pituitary gland.
So many things in modern life, lower oxytocin and it is really important to restore gut balance. L. reuteri is a probiotic bacterium that enhances gut-brain axis communication by stimulating the production and release of oxytocin from the intestine.
Due to depletion of the soils, the use of artificial fertilizers, chemicals in modern life, pharmaceuticals, processed foods, wifi, etc.. our gut does not have the strains of bacteria it used to. After my extended water fast, when the "pipes" were clean I had homemade milk kefir and colostrum. Colostrum not only contains 700+ nutrients, 3000 peptides but also bacteria like L. reuteri . The kefir is a fermented, drinkable dairy product that is a powerful source of probiotics, containing a diverse community of beneficial bacteria and yeasts (up to 60+ strains) and more potent than yogurt. It's best made from kefir grains. I have a video on my Youtube Uncensoredwisdom channel on how to make it over and over again with the same grains.

The similarities between the pandemic and this current "emergency" are similar but people are responding the same way.
People who said the virus wasn't real now say the war is all fake and AI
People who are arguing over restrictions and government response are doing the same.
People who are overly optimistic believing the people won't comply are still optimistic
People who are preparing like its Armageddon are doing the same.
The way our brain is wired, doesn't change unless we reflect on how we responded previously and pivot but the signs are that we are headed into very turbulent waters. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
I hope this article and interview has been helpful to you to navigate this time. Freedom is not out there in the world, it is within.
I will leave you with a post I made on Facebook
"Contemplating today how similar this time is to early 2020, just before the lockdowns. The last six years has been intense; to put it mildly; running a marathon physically, emotionally, spiritually and a reprieve does not look like it's coming anytime soon. Between the bombs, cyber attacks, refinery fires and fuel price hikes, unexpected deaths, personal challenges and everything else being thrown at us, it's important to stay grounded.
I took a photo today while at the Melbourne zoo, of the back of a woman's t-shirt and it read "Enjoy the journey. Trust the Process" and in the background was a huge sign that said "Fighting Extinction".
It's these serendipitous moments that I know that there is a power and love greater than all of us, that will guide our lives, even in the darkest times and often all we need is faith, a sign from above and the ability to laugh when things get tough.
When I asked for a sign whether to have another baby after recovering from heart failure in 2012, I remember opening a fortune cookie and in it was the note,
"To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily. To not dare, is to lose oneself".
I chose to dare and gave birth to my eleventh child, at home by the beach in two contractions after a magical, wild pregnancy and in the journey I did indeed find myself.
You never know what you are capable of or what the future holds until you dare to dream. We can dream for a better world; one filled with love, peace and kindness. We can fight extinction. Enjoy the journey. Trust the process.
